(Beijing, November 18) The 60kg preliminaries of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Tournament were contested at the Beijing Workers Stadium on November 18, the second day of the tournament. As a result, six boxers, including Li Sijia from the Beijing municipal team, advanced to the quarterfinals.

Following were results of the six preliminary matches in the 60kg category:

B. Okan Ayvaz(TUR) bt Hsieh Hang-Chen (TPE), 19-14

C. Owethu Mbira(RSA) bt Laszlo Toth (HUN), 8-2

D. Li Sijia (CHN) bt Jean-Paul Mellie (SEY), 26-6

E. Francisco Vargas (MEX) bt Hu Qing (CHN), KO

F. Ali Sadam (USA) bt Jean Gomis (FRA), 28-11

The 60kg quarterfinals will be held tomorrow.
