(Beijing, November 18) The 57kg preliminaries of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International  Boxing Tournament were contested at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena on November 18, the second  day of the tournament. As a result, six boxers advanced to the quarterfinals.

Following were results of the six preliminary matches in the 57kg category:

B. Li Yang (CHN) bt Sameera A.K.G.K (SRI), 25-5
C. Itsarayut Jantaraporn (THA) bt Ibrahim Aydogan (TUR), 30-10
D. Arturo Santos (MEX) bt Orlando Tacuyan Jr.(PHI), 28-8
E. Chung Chun-An (TPE) bt Tso Sing-Yeung (HKG), 24-4
F. Samat Bashenov (HAZ) bt Tan Jun (CHN), 29-9

The 57kg quarterfinals will be held tomorrow.
