(Beijing, November 19) The 51kg quarterfinals of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament were held at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena on November 19. Braulio Avila from Mexico beat Beijing municipal team's Li Jinbao 17-7 to advance to the semifinals.

Braulio Avila trailed 3-4 in the first round but came from behind in the second and eventually sealed the win by 17-7.

Lin Jinbao was obviously disappointed with the result as he refused to make any comments on the match, shaking his head while walking out of the venue. Braulio Avila, on the contrary, showed his satisfaction with the result. "I did not do well at the beginning but I soon adjusted my mentality and techniques and managed to turn the tide. I'm satisfied with my performance and the Mexican song played inside the venue today inspired me a lot."
