(Beijing, November 19) The 57kg quarterfinals of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Tournament were contested at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena on November 19, the third day of the tournament. As a result, four boxers, one each from Kazakhstan, Mexico,  Russia and USA advanced to the semifinals. China's Li Yang withdrew from the competition due to injury and Raynell Williams from USA entered into semifinals without play.

Following were results of the three matches in the quarterfinals in the 57kg category:

A. Afanasy Poskachin (RUS) bt Thomas Lee Stalker (ENG), 30-17
B. Arturo Santos (MEX) bt Itsarayut Jantaraporn (THA) , 32-19
C. Samat Bashenov (HAZ) bt Chung Chun-An (TPE) , 24-22

The 57kg semifinals will be held on November 21.
