(Beijing, November 21) Braulio Avila of Mexico and Chatchai Butdee of Thailand beat their opponents respectively in the 51kg semifinals of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament this evening at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena.

In the first semifinal of the 51kg category, Paul Michael Butler of England took on Avila, who gained an early advantage by 8-2 after the first round and maintained his dominance for the 26-14 victory.

In the following semifinal, Jitender Kumar of India was reluctant to make any threats to Butdee. The Thai boxer won the bout 18-7.

The final of the 51kg will be staged tomorrow afternoon.
