France and India rejected in 69kg semifinal

(Beijing, November 21) The 69kg category semifinals of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament were held this evening at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena as French and Indian boxers were eliminated by their opponents. Russia and Kazakhstan cruised into the final.
The first semi, a clash between Dmitry Ivanov of Russia and Singh Dilbag of India, witnessed the Russian fight much better, winning 26-7.
The other semifinal became a nip and tuck fight between Kanat Orakbayev of Kazakhstan and Jaoid Chiguer of France. Orakbayev was more aggressive in the second round and beat Chiguer 36-25.
The final of the 69kg category will be held tomorrow afternoon.
