Wilder expects 91kg final clash
(Beijing, November 21) In a 91kg category semifinal of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament this evening at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena, American boxer Deontay Wilder outlived Vadim Likhman of Russia in a seesaw bout and entered the next phase thanks to scoring difference after a 26-26 tie.
"It's a breathtaking match. My rival fought pretty well but I did better. He used jabs to stop me from moving closer and I really couldn't find any rips at a time." Wilder commented after the match.
Despite the tough win, Wilder is still confident about the final tomorrow, saying "Although I don't know him (Daniel Anthony Price), I will fight hard and make it better than today's. But before that, I need take a rest and prepare for the final."
