(Beijing, Nov 22) American boxer Sadam Ali was beaten by Serik Yelevov of Kazakhstan 30-17 and lost the 60kg title of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament today at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena. Ali gave an interview to the media after the contest.
After the first round in which the boxers drew 4-4, Ali gradually lost his form. He said, "It was a tough match. I made every effort to get points by attacking actively. However, my opponent did a good job. If I meet him again I'll do better. "
Ali noted he would practice hard then. "I will train hard to prepare for a tournament in Mexico,. After that I’ll come back to compete in the Sino-US Invitational Tournament."
