(Beijing, November 22) Denis Sergeev of Russia stepped onto the +91kg gold podium of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament by winning over Michael Hunter of USA today at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena.

Hunter fought strongly in the first round, leading 4-3, but Sergeev rallied to exceed at 8-6 after the second and 12-10 after the third.

The two evened at 16 in the middle of the last round and it was Sergeev who moved quickly and punched more actively wining 21-18.

Zhang Zhilei of China and Rustam Rygebayev of Kazakhstan settled for the third place of the category.
