(Beijing, November 22) Injury-plagued Deontay Wilder of the United States had to pull out of the 91kg final today, sending Daniel Anthony Price of England directly to the throne without having to strike a blow. Wilder got the silver medal regrettably.

After attending the prize-awarding ceremony Wilder gave an interview to the media explaining his reason to pull out. He said with regret: "My shoulder was injuried. I felt pain in the shoulder last night and the team decided that I should quit. Fortunately I will have the chance to come to China again for the China-US Invitational next year together with my teammate Ali who is in the 60kg."

"I want to spend more time with my daughter." Wilder added with a smile.
