(Beijing, November 22) The "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Boxing Invitational Tournament came to a close today at the Beijing Workers' Indoor Arena.

Russian Dmitry Ivanov, winner of the 69kg category, turned up the thumbs to the organizer's work at the post-event press conference, saying "The venue is great and the equipment is great. I'm very happy to compete here."

Denis Sergeev of Russia, winner of the +91kg category, noted that in addition to the well established venue, the service work was also satisfactory as "the organizers offered not only sound environment but also good service."

The 91kg titlist Daniel Anthony Price of England added the reconstructed venue made the boxers feel honored here in the event and "want to do well in each and every one of their matches."

Ivanov also revealed "To me, boxing is the most important thing and I would probably be the participant in next year's Olympic Games for my country."

On professional boxers being not allowed to compete in the Olympic Games, Sergeev said "I won't join in professional boxing circle in a short term and I would consider about it only after the Beijing Olympic Games and the World Championships."

"Amateur boxing is not as horrifying as people think. Actually it's pretty safe, because I haven't got any serious hurts after fighting in 100 plus matches. I want to be a professional boxer after the 2012 Olympic Games." Price said.
