"GOOD LUCK BEIJING" INTERNATIONAL BOXING INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
NOVEMBER 17 ¨C 22, 2007  BEIJING, CHINA
 
1.      Competition Title: "Good Luck BEIJING" International Boxing Invitational Tournament, 2007
2.      Organizer: Chinese Boxing Association
3.      Competition Dates: Nov. 17, 2007¡ªNov. 22 2007
4.      Competition Venue: Beijing Worker's Indoor Arena
5.      Events: 51kg, 57kg, 60kg, 69kg, 91kg, +91kg
6.      Eligibilities
Chinese Boxing Association will invite some AIBA-affiliated National Associations in good standing to send ONE senior boxer (age 17 to 34) to participate in the designated weight categories.
Each boxer shall bring his own AIBA record book to the weigh-in. Without his record book, the boxer will not be allowed to box.
7.      Competition Rules
"Good Luck BEIJING" International Boxing Invitational Tournament will be staged in 6 Olympic Weight Classes according to the latest Rules of AIBA. The bouts will be of 4 rounds of 2 minutes duration with a 60 seconds rest period between rounds.

9. Participants:
Boxers:     16 boxers will be invited in each weight category
Officials:    1 to 3 boxers---1 Coach and 1 official
              4 to 6 boxers---2 Coaches and 1 official
In addition, each team may be accompanied by one AIBA R/J and one team doctor, whose numbers shall not be included in the above figures.
10. Technical Officials
AIBA will nominate the technical delegates, juries, medical juries to conduct the tournament, host country can send 3 AIBA R/Js. Meanwhile BOCOG will nominate 6 NTOs (national technical officials) to officiate in the tournament.
11. Financial Condition
    i. Athletes¡¢Team officials and doctors should pay for their accommodation and food. The rates are:

NOTE: The above rates are inclusive of three meals per person per day.
    ii. Extra persons£¬early arrivals and late departures persons should pay for their accommodation and food. The rates are:

NOTE: The above rates are inclusive of three meals per person per day.
   iii. Other fees occurred in hotel will be covered by the participants themselves.
iv. The Organizing Committee will be responsible for lodging and accommodation for AIBA officials and team R/Js
All payment must be in CASH made to the Organizing Committee upon their arrival in Beijing.
(2) Round Trip and Transportation
All participating teams will be responsible for their international travel to and from Beijing. The organizing committee will cover the economic class round trip airfare of AIBA officials between their home country and Beijing. The organizing committee will provide local transport to all participants between the hotel and competition and training venues.
12. Medical Care
The organizing Committee will cover free medical care and First-Aid in the venues for accredited technical officials, boxers and team officials who sustain sports injury during the tournament from November15th to 22nd, 2007 including free ambulance transportation to the local designated official hospital. All the costs for treatment accrued in the designated official hospital will be totally in the account of the patient.
13. Doping Control
Doping Control for Good Luck Beijing International Boxing Invitational Tournament will be conducted according to the World Anti-Doping Code and the Prohibited List at the game time.
Doping control procedure will be developed according to the International Standard for Testing. The Test Distribution Plan will be made by Organizing Committee and AIBA.
All samples will be analyzed at the WADA-accredited Anti-Doping Laboratory in Beijing.
14.  Awards:
Gold, silver and 2 bronze medals and diplomas will be awarded to the top three winners in each weight category, 4 victory diplomas will be awarded to the fifth places. All participants will be awarded the commemorative diplomas.
15.  Visas
¡°Visa Notification¡± will be sent to the participants through fax or mail by Organizing Committee. Applicants can apply for the visa in Chinese Embassies and consulates with notification.
16.  Cloth and Equipment
(1)       Athletes should bring their Red/Blue competition vests.
(2)       Organizing Committee will provide the competition headgear, gloves and   bandages.
(3)       Athletes should bring their own gum shield and cup protector.
17.  Hotels
Hua Du Hotel  (3-star) ---for delegations
Poly Plaza Hotel  (4-star) ---for AIBA officials, referees/judges
18. Entries:
Team Registrations (Appendix I) Entry Forms must be submitted to the Organizing Committee no later than June 30, 2007.
To guarantee hotel reservations, delegation must advise the Organizers no later than July 31, 2007 of the Accommodation Requirement Form (Appendix III) and Delegation Travel Details Forms (Appendix IV).
Final Team Entry Forms (Appendix II) must be submitted to the Organizing Committee no later than July 31, 2007.
ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THIS DEADLINE MAY BE REJECTED.
19. Training Facilities
The Organizer will provide training facilities for the participating teams from the official arrival date.
